Here's something you should check out if you are in the market to by a townhome. Asking these questions before you buy can save you hassle later on.

When you have your interview with the homeowners association ask them where you will be assigned parking. Is it close to your new townhome or is it a half a mile away. And that's not the only parking question you should ask. See where your guest parking spots will be located. If they're close to your unit, great; if they're a half a mile away try to find out who makes the rules assigning parking for the complex. You can always try to negotiate a better parking space as a condition of your purchase.

Its your money. You should use it to get as good a deal for yourself as you can.
